About the Team:
As an Android Engineer at Customer Obsession team at Uber, you will build highly-performant, reliable, scalable applications used by millions of external customers every day. During the Covid19 situation, we have accelerated to build a complete virtual support experience for our customers building Chat, Video products for end consumers and building Help Center experiences with automation workflows. You will have an outstanding opportunity to build a premier and first of its kind support experience for our users. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders across all lines of business - Rides, Eats including Grocery - to build and match customers with the best care channels (phone, chat, video) for their specific needs. At Uber, we have a high bar for quality & efficiency - you will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Business Operations teams to build for scale, yet solutions focused on providing delightful customer experiences. The team is focused on high business impact, where every product we ship is measured and tracked with cost savings and/or efficiency improvement.
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 1-year full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 1-year total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Android Development• Android java, or Android Kotlin
• Note the 1-year total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research, or similar (OR some combination of these). The year of specialized experience is not necessarily in addition to the years of Education & full-time work experience indicated.

For Colorado-based roles: The salary/hourly rate range for this role is $134,000 per year - $149,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, commissions, & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
