About Loupe
Loupe was founded out of a desire to do better. Our origin story is a humble one: We saw that the sports card collecting hobby had a lot of inefficiencies, and we wanted to improve on it. At its heart, Loupe is a place where sports card buyers and sellers can come together to share their hobby.
We pride ourselves on making it easy and fun to partake in card collecting. You don’t need to love sports or sports cards to work at Loupe. About the Role
Loupe is looking for an Android Engineer who wants to build world-class software and hone their craft.
As an Android engineer at Loupe you will be part of a cross functional team of individuals who are passionate about developer experience and high quality software. You’ll be tasked with building software that you are proud of and that others will enjoy onboarding onto.
You will work on Loupe’s Android app which is built in Kotlin, utilizing an MVVM architecture and a UI built in Jetpack Compose. We take the developer experience seriously and promote a culture of automated testing, trunk based development, continuous delivery, feature toggles, and application monitoring.
This role can be remote anywhere in the U.S.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Play a key role in facilitating the growth of Loupe in the fast growing live e-commerce industry
- Shape the direction of the product through the Android platform, improve current features, and introduce new features to delight our users
- Participate in our partner community to establish the future of the trading card hobby
- Collaborate across disciplines to ship software and experiences that the whole company is proud of
We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with Android
- A preference for Kotlin, Coroutines, Dagger, Jetpack libraries, MVVM, and automated testingA desire for open collaboration
- An interest in UDF, Hilt, Jetpack Compose, AWS IVS, or Lottie
