Who You Are:

Platform Science’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is hiring a Product Manager focused on evaluating, prioritizing, and testing value propositions for the business, customers, and strategic partners in today’s rapidly evolving transportation ecosystem. Reporting to the Sr. Product Manager in ATG, and working with a team of passionate colleagues, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our company. 

This role focuses on incubating product concepts to commercialization. You are comfortable with ambiguity and bring creative approaches to solving complex problems. You are an exceptional communicator and know how to differentiate messaging to various audiences of colleagues, customers, and partners. You are a stellar collaborator and work closely with other teams in the organization to understand the current business challenges, informing your approaches to future initiatives. You are data-driven and focused on understanding the problem without rushing to solutions. 

What You’ll Do:

• Work with the ATG team to design and test proof-of-concepts
• Collaborate with core business units to create viable paths of value to the business and its users
• Research and analyze emerging complementary and competitive technology solutions 
• Understand and communicate complex problems and potential solutions internally and externally 
• Visually communicate user interface concepts and high-level system concepts
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria focused on solving fundamental stakeholder challenges 
• Internally incubate product concepts that may be commercialized within the broader organization 

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of industry experience focused on product viability and usability
• Excellent communication skills that allow you to effectively collaborate with peers, team members, and management
• Strong ability to context-switch and manage competing priorities  
• Experience with wireframing and diagramming 
• Proven history of delivering commercial solutions with software and/or hardware engineering teams
• Demonstrable experience defining and tracking business intelligence metrics
• Experience in SaaS and/or systems integrations
• Attitude and willingness to work in a hyper-growth environment

This is an exempt role. Our job titles for each posting may span across more than one job level. The estimated base salary for this role is between $126,721 and $192,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salaries across all US locations. Compensation packages are based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, work experience, relevant trainings and certifications, business needs, market demands and specific geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
