Primary Responsibilities:

  • RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate and track impediments, help manage risks and dependencies, and drive relentless improvement
  • Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process that drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events
  • The RTE's major responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) using various tools, such as the Program Kanban and other information radiators
  • Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency
  • Assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization events, including the ART sync
  • Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
  • Help drive the Lean User Experience (UX) innovation cycle
  • Work with the PMO on program execution and operational excellence
  • Understand and operate within Lean Budgets and ensure adherence to Guardrails
  • Facilitate System Demos (integrated view of new Features for the most recent Iteration delivered by all the teams in the ART)
  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and help them improve
  • Foster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years or more years of IT experience
  • 3+ years or more years of combined experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach
  • 3+ years or more years Project/Program Management experience
  • Agile mindset and servant leader approach
  • Experience working on large scale, multiple agile development team projects
  • Experience working on mixed methodology program (e.g., Scrum interfacing with Waterfall from a dependency perspective)
  • Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) structure and scaling frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAFe Release Train experience
  • LeSS Framework experience
  • Proven knowledge of agile principles and concepts

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
