This position is for an Advanced Test Engineer. The Advanced Test Engineer will be responsible for engineering design and installation support of avionics modifications and avionics experimental installations at the Phoenix Flight Test facility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of engineering drawings such as system schematics, wiring diagrams, wire harness drawings. Oversee project Architecture and Concept designs.
• Integration of avionics changes and modifications to aircraft in the flight test fleet.
• Configuration management of avionics changes and modifications to aircraft within the established flight test engineering process. Specifically, the Avionics Engineer should be able to develop an overall top-level understanding of the existing avionics systems and the integration of future alterations, changes, and modifications in the form of either service bulletins, STCs or flight test alterations or avionics data acquisition.
• Assisting flight operations maintenance staff with avionics troubleshooting and discrepancy rectification.
• Works closely with flight test engineers and technicians to ensure timely completion of avionics flight test projects.
• Assist flight test engineers with the development of flight test procedures for avionics test programs
• Documentation

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 4 or more years of experience in engineering
• Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status

WE VALUE
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with EPIC Cockpit Systems is a plus
• Previous Flight Test Experience Preferred
• Individuals who take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
• Individuals that assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations
• Effectively using data to make intelligent decisions
• Multi-tasking and having the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks.
