Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell[SBG]. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Join a scrum team responsible for product development of a global Software platform
• Translate requirements into scalable software architecture and implementation.
• Work with geographically distributed teams
• Advocate customer needs and demonstrate passion for technology
• Take ownership of a feature and collaborating with the team deliver working code that solves the customer problem
• Be versatile, willing to work on all level of code stack and in multiple technologies
• Individual contributor, collaborate with teams, customers, collect feedback, propose design solutions, and work on MVOs
• Actively participate in the entire product development life cycle: idea inception, architecture draft, design, coding, testing, deployment, and customer feedback
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of software development experience working on commercial applications
• 5 + years' experience using WebAPIs, C#(.Net Core), SQL server
• 3+ years of front-end development experience developing web applications using JavaScript based tools and frameworks like React/Redux/Mobx or Angular.js or Ember
• 3 + years of JavaScript and Functional Programming.
• 3 + years of HTML5 and CSS3.
• 3 + years' experience building responsive Single Page Web Applications.
• 3 + years' experience with Scrum, Agile Process

WE VALUE

• Master's Degree in Computer Science
• Experience with ReactJS
• Developing, designing cloud services.
• Product development experience in Building automation/BMS domain is highly preferred. If not in same domain, experience in similar Automation domains will also be an advantage.
• Practical, hands-on experience with one or more public cloud services: AWS, Azure, IBM Bluemix etc.
• Niagara certification
• Experience in serverless architecture, microservices
• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
• Strong hands-on ability to write unit test cases, secure and maintainable code/
• Experience in scalability and elasticity
• Experience in developing highly scalable and extensible software/
• Strong hands-on ability to write unit test cases, secure and maintainable code
• Agile software development using industry leading toolset like JIRA, Bamboo, GIT, etc.
• Strong communication skills, ability to write technical docs and present ideas
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
