The IIoT Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the shop floor operations and IT/OT teams to successfully develop and deploy machine connectivity, and industrial automation and control systems integration solutions.The Business Analyst will create and manage the technical and functional deliverables generated in line with customer expectations. The role will require analysis of business processes, requirements, and collaborationwith manufacturing, business stakeholders and enterprise IT/OT technical teams to translate this information into the required documentation.
Responsibilities:

1. Organize discussions with business teams to discover detailed user requirements.
2. Update and track changes to business requirements during the project lifecycle for multiple client sites.
3. Identify risks ahead of time and carve a mitigation plan. Escalate as necessary when needs arise to keep the timelines and project scope on track.
4. Write clear and concise SOW's and send to multiple vendors for RFQ.
5. Work with SMEs to understand process flows and be able to convert them into formal procedural documents.
6. Write easy-to-understand user guides, SOPs, and propose innovative approaches for documenting.

Qualifications:

1. BSc/MSc in Science or Engineering with technical know-how and experience within IT or OT environments
2. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial automation and control system (IACS), or software development
3. Demonstrated ability to write business requirements, finalize scope
4. Great attention to detail, with excellent oral, and written communication skills
5. Define key KPI's/metrics for machine connectivity/Smart Factory deployments at multiple sites
6. Working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, DCS, and MES systems
7. Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
8. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text
9. Knowledge of IIoT projects is key

Preferred:

1. Knowledge of Ignition platform is a plus.
2. Optional: Knowledge/Acquittance of PLC machines, PCN networks, Networking, Firewall and Security, Digital Smart Factory, Data & Analytics.

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
