Responsibilities
- Developing Performance Test plan & Strategy
- Experience working in Onsite/Offshore model
- Lead teams - Communicate requirements to the offshore team, assign tasks and track the status
- Assess Test readiness - Environment, Data, and Scripts
- Develop and execute Performance tests using LoadRunner

Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in developing performance test scripts with LoadRunner
- Experience in performance testing of Thick client and Web applications using LoadRunner/Performance center
- Developing a comprehensive performance test plan (Data, Environment, Approach)
- Experience with LoadRunner protocols such as (Web/HTTP, RDP, Citrix, TruClient, Web services, MQ)*
- Create/ understand how to set up test data for the test scripts
- Experience in designing workload model
- Working with Application/Architecture/Engineering teams for debugging/analyzing performance problems
- Performance test execution and troubleshooting skills - Review error logs and debugging issues
- Preparing Performance test results, summary, and recommendations documents for clients
- Walkthrough of the performance results/problems to the client
- Strong programming/scripting experience is a plus (Java/ANSI C)

Good to Have Skills:
Experience in Mobile application performance testing
Experience using JMeter
Experience using Neoload
Experience in setting up monitoring tools such as Wily, SiteScope, Strobe, and counters where required
Experience in conducting performance testing for middleware - ESB/MQ

*Hands-on experience with a minimum of three protocols
Protocol knowledge: Web Http/Https, TruClient, WebSocket, Citrix, RDP, SAP GUI, SAP Web, Web Services

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment. Test Consultants are concerned with the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process. Testing is carried out in each phase: the requirements are tested by an acceptance test, the system design (analysis and design) by a system and integration test, and the programs by a program and module test.

Required Skills and Experience:

You design and develop more complex tests and non-functional tests. You perform many of the roles required of a software testing project, through which you acquire a full testing lifecycle experience. Typically you perform these roles as a senior member in a wider team. You act as a stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a limited number of technology areas. You contribute to bid or client proposals based on your technological expertise. You have delivery ownership and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You also actively participate in at least one community.
• Qualification: 3 - 7 (2 years min relevant experience in the role), Bachelor's Degree.
• Certification: Should have SE level 1 and seeking level 2.
• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Software Engineering, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Quality Management.
