Key responsibilities may include:• Provide functional SME support in designing the MES applications• Responsible for end-to-end business processes & solution architecture for Manufacturing execution system and integration with ERP• Responsible for creating and maintaining artifacts, such as business process, technical architectural and designs in collaboration with other SME's, Solution Architects and IT stakeholders• Responsible for evaluating the design gaps and challenges and suggests best practices with respect to MES applications• Assist the customer in performing the test cycles and provide guidance on how to roll out MES solutions at the mills• Should be able to Perform fit-gap analysis and Provide Solutions which are scalable and efficient to the end users and brings in business value
Skills:• Working in project teams through agreed upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization, testing, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle• Leading team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view and quickly identifying pitfalls in the design and proposes corrective action• Providing broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms• Teaming with client technology professionals, and third-party strategic alliances• Good communication, both written & verbal; that includes very good listening skills and an open attitude and acceptance to coaching and being coached• Highly self-motivated and directed• Ability to work in a distributed team including vendor resources• Ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree and five or more years of related work experience• Five or more years of significant experience within MES/manufacturing industry and extensive experience within the following: performing MES business requirements analysis and specifications, system design, application software configuration, development, testing, installation, start-up, and maintenance and providing guidance for, system integration and application design, architecture development and support for MES platforms like PSI , Rockwell or Siemens• Prior experience providing design and configuration of computer system solutions in support of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), integration to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Quality Systems• Possess understanding of various methodologies and standards required for project controls• Knowledge within software/systems technology and direct solution development capabilities with MES platform in Metals industry• Must be able to demonstrate and communicate understanding of both manufacturing business process execution and computer systems architecture in steel industry• Flexibility and willingness to travel

Delivery Architects assess a project's technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for designing and implementing a project's technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Delivery Architect's role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Delivery Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
• You are responsible for the end-to-end architecture of a Delivery, including its assembly and integration into the IT architecture principles defined with the client.• You define the structure of the system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation.• You are responsible for the management and mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the Delivery services can be realistically delivered by the underlying technology components.

Required Skills and Experience:• Qualification: 7-10 years of experience (3 years minimum relevant experience), Bachelor's Degree.• Certification: Has or seeking IAF level 1.• Should be proficient in foundation, People Leadership, client acquisition & development, service & delivery and business leadership.• Should be experienced in technology awareness & leveraging and innovation & growth capability.

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
