A Senior DevSecOps Engineer, responsible for leading the technical implementation and maintenance of infrastructure automation to improve collaboration and productivity of software development teams. The role includes providing a robust CI/CD pipeline, allowing code to be validated for quality and security as well as deployed (On-Premises and Cloud platforms) in a continuous fashion.

Responsibilities include:
• Play an advisory role in assessing current DevOps tools, technology & processes and suggest improvements.• Identify, integrate, monitor, and improve Information security controls by understanding business processes.• Maintain Security, SRE and SOE scores for the project as baselined by customer.• Provide packaging/deployment capability to deliver products to point of need, including multiple cloud-based solutions.• Support multiple agile teams across various platforms, environments, and instances.• Creating new CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins DSL) on demand.• Incorporate best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments.• Implement security best practices and configuration management.• Increase system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability.• Provide technical leadership and direction in the DevSecOps domain.• Managing traditional On-Premises and Cloud platform (AWS, Azure) services which including managing resources, fixing infrastructure, platform, and network related issues.• Tools development using Python, Shell scripts and Golang programming languages.• Proposing/designing/developing the new solutions to make it more powerful, sustainable, reliable, scalable, and cost effective for our client.• Interact with system engineering team to understand the requirements and participating in scrum meetings to share the status and design details.• Resolving operations issues.• Managing AWS platform and Kubernetes Namespace deployments.• Migration of services from On-premises or cloud platform to another platform.• Evaluate, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations that improve efficiency, performance and reliability. Analyse, design, implement, automate and validate strategies for CI/CD workflows and support the needs of delivery teams.• Prioritize the work, implement best practices and work collaboratively with team to deploy and operate services/applications in data centre.• Owning the automation of testing, infrastructure deployment, application configuration management and provides customer support.• Explore and automate manual processes.

Experience req:
• 5-8 Years of relevant industry experience• Experience in Python, Groovy, Bash/Shell Scripting.• Expertise of Linux family operating systems (Ubuntu, Red hat, Amazon Linux)• Strong Knowledge of Dockers, and Kubernetes.• Production level expertise with containerization orchestration engines (i.e., Kubernetes).• Experience in DevOps orchestration using CloudFormation, Terraform.• Experienced in working with Dockers and Dockers Image private repositories• Experience in conducting security tests (static and dynamic code analysis, vulnerability assessments in applications and penetration tests, security component analysis)• Knowledge of common static (SAST), dynamic security testing (DAST), IAST, RASP and vulnerability assessment tools (examples: ZAP, Blackduck, Sonar, Fortify, Sysdig, 42crunch etc.)• Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and has the outright understanding of various automation tools for developing CI/ CD pipelines.• Experience with common DevOps related tools, such as:
o Jira
o Confluence
o Jenkins
o Artifactory
o Gitlab
o Docker
o HELM3
o Kubernetes
o Ansible /Terraform• Good analytical and debugging skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Software Engineers perform requirements analysis. They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

You are an experienced Software Engineer. You have received training and mastered at least one technology environment. You are good at elaborating technology areas and have an ability to position them within the scope of an overall project. You are a member of at least one community.
• Qualification: 3-7 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor's Degree.• Certification: Should have or seeking SE Level 1.• Should have progressing knowledge in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
