The Engineer in Training (EIT) program is an entry-level program for engineers to learn core Rockwell Automation product technologies and to develop fundamental engineering skills for use in customer-facing activities.
This program prepares recent engineering graduates from around the world to be cross functional, technical resources that provide engineering services to support the design, installation / configuration, startup of networks for Rockwell Automation's customers.
The program includes a combination of formal classroom training and work assignments to give engineers hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation's products and technologies. Training focuses on both technical and commercial competencies.
As program participants, you will have a high level of interaction with Rockwell Automation leadership and will receive many opportunities to build their professional network.
Upon completion of the Overseas training program during 16+/- weeks, engineers are assigned to field office in home countries and support our customers in your own region.
16 weeks of Overseas training, all paid by company, including accommodations, means and trainings. After that, return to home countries for rotational on the job trainings.
JOB PURPOSE
- Responsible for successful completion of the EIT trainee training program and meet requirements of an entry level project engineer.
What You Will Do
- Familiar with RA products and products application.
- Complete Project task based on work order.
- Deliver and accomplish the assigned projects on time with good quality, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve self-engineering capabilities and sharing best practices with team members to improve team's capabilities.
- Support Project Manager on technical issues, such as WBS development.
- Work with Project Manager to guarantee customer acceptance.
- Ensure 100% completion of technical items defined in sales proposal in project delivery.
- Ensure project implementation follows the procedure of SSB standards.
- Maximize reusable standard products and engineering in project delivery.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, and Control Theory.
- Fresh Graduates is welcome to apply.
- Good skills in Technical Fundamentals (PLC, HMI, VSD, Automation Control, Networks).
- Ambition to work independently and within a team
- Willing to travel and work at customer sites.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
