We are looking for a firmware engineer to join our Embedded Software Department. You will be part of an expert team whose mission is to provide firmware with best-in-class user experience and unmatched reliability for the entire range of L-Acoustics devices including amplified controllers, audio processors and network devices.Our main development objectives are:
- Real-time audio processing on dedicated DSPs (SHARC).
- Device monitoring and control on RTOS enabled MCUs (Blackfin/Arm).
- Deterministic audio transport over Ethernet (AVB/TSN).
- Graphical user interface on embedded Linux platforms.
Functions :
- Design, implement and test new firmware functionality.
- Analyze and improve overall system performance.
- Investigate and solve reported issues.
- Build documentation and presentations to promote new features.
Skills & Experience :Master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science.Expert knowledge of the C programming language.1+ years of experience in bare-metal programming of MCUs and peripherals.Experience with Ethernet based communication protocols and stacks.Good spoken and written English.Excellent analytical skills, perseverance, and attention to detailCurious, eager to learn and quickly adapt to new requirements and technologies.Autonomous with strong sense of responsibility.Tools
