The EHS coordinator for Cytiva is a member of the EHS team. As such, you support the department and the employer in general in ensuring the daily safety and working conditions as well as environmental policy of the site. You have sufficient knowledge of the occupational risks and circumstances and the (preventive) measures to be taken so that good working conditions and safety are guaranteed. In the field of working conditions, you are a point of contact for the staff and external experts. You have a primarily operational and support role within the entire EHS policy, in which you help monitor the progress in implementing the measures resulting from the RI&E and applicable policies. In addition, you also act as the eyes and ears of the department and you will spend a large part of your time on the work floor. In addition to the above, you have basic knowledge of environmental aspects.
The EHS coordinator reports to the EHS manager who directly reports to the site lead. The position will be on-site in Medemblik.
What you will do:
- Supervise compliance with procedures, instructions, safety regulations, ARBO regulations and all other rules related to HSE aspects. In doing so, signal, report and resolve deviations and risks in the field of safety, working conditions and environmental requirements and procedures.
- Responsibility for roll-out, maintenance and improvement of DBS tools such as ++SQDIP, 5S, 4E-events, etc. as well as support for key processes in place in relation to security, business continuity, concern reporting, contractor work permits, safety tours etc
- Drafting and maintaining various documents and registrations, such as the site policies, one-point lessons, SQDIP posters, information posters, monthly environmental reports, drafting work instructions and standard work
- Training and instructing staff, external visitors and contractors
- Coordinating role within the BHV organization
Who you are:
- Level of knowledge of MBO/HBO in the field of EHS, such as MVK
- 1-3 years relevant work experience in the field of EHS
- Knowledge of spoken and/or written Dutch and English
- Thinking in solutions, Good analytical skills, Practical thinking, Collaboration, Service orientation, Result-oriented
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Knowledge of GMP and GDP guidelines.
- Knowledge of tools and production equipment.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations in the field of Working Conditions, Safety and Environment
