The DPI Business Data Analytics Apprentice will be a part of the UL Solutions Business Insights team. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the field of data analytics while contributing to UL Solutions' data-driven decision-making process.
This is a 12-month program and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll learn & achieve:• Assist in defining, developing, and deploying data, analytics and reporting products and services that integrate and convey complex data/information and maintains data catalog to provide key data sources to internal and external stakeholders.• Develop Business Intelligence (BI) visualizations and KPIs by configuring BI software and performing data cleansing and mapping from various systems.• Investigate and troubleshoot system and configuration issues impacting data quality and reporting.• Liaise with senior team members & cross functional teams on more complex data issues and configuration.• Draft detailed process documentation for data collection, mapping, validation, analysis, and visualization.• Document and deliver end-user training, work instructions and job aides.
QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you a great fit:
- Successful completion of the DPI career development program
- SQL experience
- PowerBI, Python, and Excel experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Power Automate is a plus
What we offer:
- Total Rewards: The hourly rate for this role is $30.00/hour. This apprenticeship is a 12-month program and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
