We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead and manage a team of Sales Executives. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, achieving sales targets, and fostering a high-performing sales culture within the team. RESPONSIBILITIES


Leadership and Team Management:

- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Sales Executives to achieve and exceed sales goals.

- Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.

- Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales environment that encourages continuous improvement and high morale.

-Strategize with Sales team on winning approach and in-deal execution

 

Strategic Sales Planning:

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.

- Identify market opportunities, set sales targets, and align the team's efforts to achieve corporate objectives.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine the sales strategy in alignment with overall business goals.


Sales Operations and Reporting:

- Oversee the sales pipeline, monitor key metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities, forecasts, and performance.

- Ensure the team uses CRM tools effectively to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales data.

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize the sales process and improve lead generation and conversion rates.

 

Market and Competitor Analysis:

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new business opportunities.

- Provide feedback to product development teams on market demands and customer preferences.


Sales Training and Development:

- Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the team.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging sales techniques, and ensure the team is equipped with the tools and knowledge to succeed.


Budget and Resource Management:

- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to achieve maximum return on investment.

- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key partners and vendors.


 REQUIREMENTS


- Proven experience as a Sales Director or similar leadership role, with a track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams.

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.

- Excellent understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and sales operations.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and execute plans effectively.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools, with strong data-driven decision-making abilities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with a strong focus on achieving results.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.


EDUCATION


BS/BA degree or equivalent.
