About the role

In this role, you will own the product marketing strategy and execution that achieves a compelling and differentiated value proposition for the Crunchtime restaurant operations suite and all of its products. You will bring a creative, analytical and results-driven mindset to market and competitive analyses, as well as positioning and narrative development. You will measure your success by our success in market.

You will build strong cross-functional collaborations with product management, marketing, sales, customer success and enablement to be the glue between what we have already built / are building and what we’re marketing and selling -- upleveling our messaging, quarterbacking product launches, developing strategic content and sales tools, and ensuring that marketing, sales and customer success are both timely enabled and have universally adopted across all sales and marketing channels.

What you’ll do as a Director of Product Marketing
  • Partner with marketing to drive the company narrative.
  • Own the product positioning, messaging, and value proposition to clearly differentiate our solutions in the market and to resonate with target buyer personas.
  • Quarterback product launches and the go-to-market motions to include the right mix of content and channels to drive awareness and demand.
  • Define and track key PMM metrics. Present results and strategic recommendations to sales, marketing, product and executive leadership.
  • Team closely with sales leadership and account execs to identify and nimbly execute on opportunities to reduce friction in the sales process via messaging and assets.
  • Conduct deep market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and insights that inform the company messaging blueprint, product roadmap, and selling motions.
  • Partner with the demand gen team to bring our positioning and narrative to life via integrated campaigns that drive pipeline and support revenue goals
What we’re looking for
  • Solution/Consultative/SPIN/GAP Selling, or similar orientation and approach.
  • Exceptional storyteller and communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, differentiated business value for executives, users and decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive alignment across highly cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Executive Leadership). Track record leading cross-functional initiatives and teams to execute.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to articulate challenges and solutions in a crisp, simple and engaging way; comfortable presenting in front of internal and external audiences.
  • Strong quantitative skills and the ability to turn analysis into concise recommendations, actionable plans, and effective execution.
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, distributed environment; ability to prioritize and adapt.
Education and Experience: 
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise B2B business applications; mid-market experience a plus
  • SaaS/Cloud experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing a product marketing team

Compensation:

The annual base compensation range for this position is $185,000-$200,000. 

Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Crunchtime has a location-based compensation system, so someone doing the same job in a different city might have a different pay range.
