This job is responsible for solution strategy, execution, and lifecycle from conception to launch via collaboration with clients, executives, engineering, marketing, sales, professional services and client experience. The scope of this job includes managing teammates, ensuring solutions address market needs and align with corporate strategy, and defining strategic direction and vision of solution roadmap to meet revenue and client satisfaction goals. 

You will lead the development, operation and maintenance of WellSky’s Resource Manager – an enterprise patient scheduling and workforce optimizer. This core solution supports six end-markets across the post-acute care market. It integrates with six EHRs and provides market-specific scheduling and resource management workflows. This is a highly strategic solution across the WellSky portfolio and plays a significant role in the way that WellSky is transforming healthcare across the nation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic direction of product development; ensure consistent execution of solution lifecycle processes from concept to launch within established product scope. 
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams to drive the solution development lifecycle from concept to deployment. 
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis initiatives to identify opportunities for solution innovation and differentiation. 
  • Develop effective partnerships across the team with solution marketing, professional services and client experience to evaluate client satisfaction and areas of opportunity. 
  • Maintain a rolling 4-quarter product roadmap and lead quarterly planning efforts to develop tactical commitments that support the strategic roadmap and can be executed with a high level of fidelity. 
  • Lead the annual update of a 3-year vision and strategy document for areas of responsibility, and ensure business opportunities are surfaced for annual budget planning. 
  • Drive tracking and analysis of solution performance, make data-driven decisions to optimize results, and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Collaborate with business and product management leadership in selected business units to identify market needs and align on shared plans to deliver integrated scheduling workflows to that market. 
  • Perform other job duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 8-10 years related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4-5 years people management work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end product development. 
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. 
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field. 
  • Experience in the healthcare technology sector - especially home-based care or post-acute care. 
  • Experience working with scheduling applications. 
  • Experience with AI/ML model development and implementation. 

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 20% based on business needs.
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed.
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information.
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
