WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Innovate, Build, Iterate, Launch - You will proactively identify insights and data gaps in the global media landscape, and build automated solutions to fill those gaps. These solutions will include “scrappy,” prototype-style insights products (e.g. dashboards, LLM retrieval interfaces) that can be tested with sellers and customers, and sent to production when there is opportunity for scaled monetization.
- Ideate and Deliver Bespoke, Consultative Insights - You will work collaboratively with sellers, sales engineers, product teams, and data scientists to ideate and deliver bespoke insights, service, or data solutions that add value and deliver ROI for Samba’s most strategic, high-value customers.
- Deliver Standardized Insights Reports & Improve Retrieval for Internal Teams - You will support business development teams by delivering standardized insights that sales teams will use in prospecting, pitches, customer outreach, and more. You will proactively improve the retrieval methods for standardized reports and recurring insights requests to enable self-service insights at scale among sellers

You always start with the assumption that the challenge can be solved with Samba data, and you are obsessive in proving that point, so you’re almost always right. Your relentless curiosity means you uncover new data points, metrics, or interpretations, and your service-first approach earns trust and credibility.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in media, measurement, activation, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, executive presence, relentless curiosity.
- Technical fluency in SQL, comfort in Python, experience in BigQuery and Databricks.
- Knowledgeable and eager to leverage and incorporate AI into deliverables.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Expert-level understanding of buy and sell-side media customers.
- Prior roles: Solutions Engineering, R&D, Marketing or Content Insights, or related fields.
- Experience being a public spokesperson - speaking at events, on podcasts, and more.
