The Role

We're looking for a Director who can guide our vision for technology at Remitly, reporting to our CISO. This new role will manage a set of teams that leverage technology to help our employees better serve our customers. This is an opportunity to lead across multiple sites and cultures at the head of a global organization.

You are a stakeholder-focused technologist who can apply a whole product mindset. You develop solutions that unlock productivity across all of Remitly. You love to scale using software development alongside operational excellence. You work through people, coaching and growing your team, but can also zoom in where needed to sweat the details.

What You'll Do

• Lead an inclusive and global team.
• Understand our business, customers, and long-term vision. Bring your expertise in technology to accelerate and realize that vision.
• Partner with stakeholders in operational units like finance, human resources, and customer success. Understand their roadmaps and accelerate their impact.
• Hold a high bar for security and engineering excellence. Bring modern software development and operations to all facets of the business in your daily work and as a leader in the company.

You Have

• 8+ year of industry experience leading a progressive IT organization
• Experienced with SAAS technologies such as Gsuite, Remote services, or AWS technology stack
• Applied a product mindset to developing technology solutions
• Demonstrated change management for large-scale technical projects
• Partnered with executives and managers to achieve employee technology outcomes
