The Director of Growth Marketing will be responsible for leading Corvus Insurance’s lead/pipeline creation efforts across all products/channels and will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. This role will be the chief architect of the demand generation and integrated campaigns strategy and is accountable for driving results that align with the company’s overall revenue/gross written premium goals. The ideal candidate will be strategic, data and results-driven, collaborative, and comfortable progressively building the processes and team needed by a high-growth company.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead Corvus’ Demand Generation strategy, tactics, and resourcing to drive growth in our brokers and policyholders. Create, execute, measure and optimize the company’s quarterly Demand Generation plans.

  • Continuous evolution. Develop best-in-class demand gen / integrated campaign processes to become more predictable and efficient

  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue and sales cycle length.

  • Own an annual budget that includes: developing a top-down demand generation strategy, building bottoms-up spend requirements to meet targets, optimizing spend allocation, and constructing data-driven business cases for incremental investment strategies

  • Nurture strong cross-functional relationships based on shared alignment of segment/channel goals with specific focus on Business Development, Sales, Underwriting, Technology, and Finance leadership

  • Evaluate, select and manage outside vendors that contribute to demand creation programs including direct marketing agencies, search engine optimization (SEO) experts, designers, copywriters, email providers and list brokers

  • Manage a team that spans all aspects of lead generation and nurturing to build pipeline across all Corvus offerings, including marketing operations / automation, integrated campaigns, digital marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), events/webinars, and broker life cycle marketing/nurturing

  • Grow the team, both in size as the business grows and also in individual capabilities. Lead, mentor and motivate the individuals on the Corvus Demand Gen team to proactively develop skills needed to execute in the current roles and expand their future career opportunities

 

What you’ll bring to the flock:

  • 8+ years of b2b demand creation/growth experience

  • Cyber security industry experience required, insurance and technology preferred

  • Start-up experience

  • People management experience

  • BA required, MBA preferred

  • Expertise in building and executing integrated campaigns across multiple products and channels

  • Experience designing lead flow and nurturing processes

  • Deep knowledge of marketing tech stack (Google Analytics, HubSpot or Salesforce/Marketo)

  • Demonstrate skills in positioning and differentiating products and services

  • Core expertise in b2b digital/inbound marketing including Web and content marketing, ability to leverage social media to seed demand, search engine optimization/search engine marketing (SEO/SEM), association marketing and content syndication

  • Experience in marketing automation, web content management, web analytics and business intelligence (reporting and analysis tools)

  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast- paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements

  • Ability and interest in learning the insurance industry with a passion for using technology to disrupt and transform the space

Please note that the salary range that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only. The base salary range for this position is: $160,000.00 - $190,000.00, subject to final approval. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
