Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Fluxx is looking for a highly motivated Director, Financial Planning & Analysis to join the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning within a SaaS environment. This role will be instrumental in driving financial performance, providing insights for decision-making, and supporting Fluxx's growth strategies. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

This is a full time exempt and remote position. Candidates must be located in the United States.

How you will make an impact/What you will do:

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities 
• Develop and Maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning
• Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support decision making processes 

Performance Analysis:

• Analyze Financial performance against key business metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare detailed variance analysis and explain deviations from budget/forecast
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identity trends, risks and opportunities

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with Senior management to develop long term strategic plans 
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions 

Reporting & Communication:

• Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership
• Communicate financial results, forecasts and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively

Team Leadership:

• • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the financial department
  • Collaborate cross functionally to support business objectives and drive operational efficiency. 

What you bring to the team/ About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel Google Sheets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Salary:

The expected annual base salary for this role is $180,000-$200,000. This position is eligible for target-based commissions. The base pay range is subject to change in the future. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to (a) location; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience. Fluxx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic location and our compensation philosophy.
