Director of IT – Enterprise Integrations will serve as the chief architect and strategist for our digital nervous system. This is not just a "maintenance" role; it will lead the charge in evolving our API ecosystem from a collection of points to a resilient, scalable, and high-performance enterprise platform. It will be responsible for defining the technical vision, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, and managing the critical vendor relationships that power our infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Engineering Leadership
- Team Evolution: Identify, mentor, and develop the next generation of engineering leaders. You aren't just managing tasks; you are building a high-performing "squad" culture.
- Capability Building: Define the standards for "what good looks like" in code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing within the integration space.
2. API Ecosystem & Architecture
- Platform Vision: Lead the design and deployment of API strategies using MuleSoft (or comparable gateways like Apigee or Kong).
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full API lifecycle—from initial design and security protocols to versioning and eventual retirement.
