This is a unique opportunity to lead and evolve the Engineering Management System as a core capability within the Engineering Systems & Performance team, ensuring the Engineering Delivery System is governed, integrated, and applied effectively across Engineering & Workplace. In this role you will work through influence to align stakeholders, strengthen performance management, and enable a strong ONE TEAM approach in a complex global environment.
This is a Director specialist role with no direct people leadership responsibilities and will be based in Billund, Denmark.
Core ResponsibilitiesLead and evolve the Engineering Management System as a core capability within the Engineering Systems & Performance team
Define and govern the frameworks, standards, and leadership routines that enable consistent planning, execution, and performance management across Engineering & Workplace
Ensure coherence and integration across processes, tools, and performance frameworks, enabling the Engineering Delivery System to function effectively as one system
Enable clarity of ownership and accountability, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and performance
Enable leaders, process owners, and subject matter experts across Engineering & Workplace to apply the Management System through structured governance, performance reviews, and decision-making mechanisms
Drive transparency and alignment of performance insights, including requirements for data quality, reporting, and system-level visibility
Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to strengthen the ONE TEAM approach, ensuring consistent ways of working across functions and sites
Partner with Continuous Improvement and LEAN transformation roles to embed continuous improvement into leadership behaviours and management routines
Contribute to the evolution of the Engineering Delivery System, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and governance standards

As part of the Engineering Systems & Performance team, you will play a key role in driving the transformation of how Engineering & Workplace delivers as one integrated system.
The team is responsible for ensuring that the Engineering Delivery System becomes a living, integrated way of working that enables clear ownership, strong collaboration, and sustained performance.
In this role, you will shape one of the most critical enabling capabilities within Engineering & Workplace — the Management System that ensures alignment between strategy, execution, and performance. By strengthening governance, leadership routines, and system integration, you will enable leaders to manage priorities, risks, and delivery with greater clarity in a complex global environment.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Strong understanding of engineering principles, management systems and familiarity with industry standards, compliance requirements & best practices
Proven experience owning or governing enterprise-scale management systems, operating models, or governance frameworks in a global organisation
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse stakeholders without formal authority
Strong experience at the intersection of strategy deployment, performance management, and operational execution
Proven track record of defining decision frameworks, KPIs, and management routines that drive accountability and business outcomes
High level of data literacy, including defining requirements for performance insights, data quality, and reporting
Ability to operate effectively in a high-complexity, multi-stakeholder environment across global locations
Strong understanding of continuous improvement as a leadership and management system
