Our Technology Infrastructure team engineers and operates the foundational technology platforms that power all of the firm’s applications and businesses. Our disciplines span a broad array of technologies from datacenter infrastructure to large scale cloud services, with the shared goal of providing the most reliable, performant, modern technology platforms to improve time-to-market for our business. What you’ll do

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for establishing and maintaining the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation framework closely aligned with Macro Technology software engineering teams. Specifically, you will:

• Collaborate closely with Macro Technology development teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable deployment of the applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, to support dynamic and high-performance environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to streamline application deployment and scaling.
• Develop and enforce branching strategies and integrity to ensure code quality and consistency across development teams.
• Oversee release procedures to ensure smooth and efficient deployment cycles.
• Adhere to and contribute to firm-wide DevOps practices, while building capabilities above, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.

What’s REQUIRED

• Expert level knowledge of Github Actions and Jenkins (including Groovy).
• Experience with Windows and Linux based operating systems, Cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration Management (Ansible).
• Experience with container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS and ECS.
• Coding / scripting skills - C#, Python, PowerShell.
• Software development background and experience working within a development team.
• Strong knowledge of software configuration management systems and version control software, preferably based on git.
• Strong understanding of test processes and test strategies including test automation.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
