Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting infrastructure solutions that enable seamless application deployment and system stability. Your work will directly contribute to the organization’s ability to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions that meet business needs. Software Requirements
Required Software Skills:
Cloud platforms: Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (basic understanding)
Operating Systems: UNIX/Linux (RHEL, CentOS)
Scripting: Unix Shell Scripting, SQL
Messaging Middleware: IBM MQ, Kafka, Solace (preferred but not mandatory)
Monitoring Tools: Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
Preferred Software Skills:
Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef
Automation tools: Terraform, Jenkins

Overall Responsibilities
Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Manage the entire lifecycle of infrastructure projects from planning to deployment.
Collaborate closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve bugs, support tooling, and ensure smooth integration.
Implement and oversee release and deployment processes, including post-release checks.
Troubleshoot incidents, investigate system behaviors, and drive resolutions.
Utilize monitoring tools to track system health and respond promptly to critical alerts.
Maintain and update technical support documentation.
Participate actively in stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with change management standards and procedures.
Drive continuous improvements in infrastructure automation and system reliability.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience accepted
Certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are advantageous
