The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will be responsible for dry transformer Electrical design.

2. You will provide technical support and material cost calculation for Marketing & Sales.

3. You will analyze and solve technical issues in workshop or on-site.

4. You will be responsible for design improvement projects and cross-functional communication for design-to-value activities.

5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering and Automation.

2. At least 5 year working experience related field of engineering or R&D. Transformer design experience is preferred.

3. Proficient in using CAD, ProE and other drawing tools and Proficient in using Excel/Word/PPT and other office software.

4. Outstanding communication skills, result-oriented, and be capable of analyzing for solutions.

5. Team player with high level of initiative, self-learning, and pragmatic approach.

6. Project management and time management, willing to take challenges.

7. Excellent English in oral and written both.
