Job Description

Experience Designers represent the design team in the front-end design process by advising on digital experiences and assisting in the facilitation of the process. Collaborate with other design teams on experience and interaction design to bring to life experience strategies and applications across Motorola’s various MAs, franchises, user interface platforms and ecosystems.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in UI design, preferably at a company focused on designing and delivering SaaS solutions 

• You have a passion and knowledge for type, color, sizing, and iconography and it’s application to web products

• You know how to work with complex Design Systems, building into, and off of, the existing ecosystem

• You can partner closely with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of your designs

• You collaborate with UX designers to achieve the highest quality user experience given the constraints

• You pay almost fanatically close attention to every detail

• You have strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• You have an exceptional portfolio of work that demonstrates the ability to design and maintain high quality, consistent user interface designs

Additional Requirements:

• A history of strategic thinking reflected in your ability to speak about your designs with clarity and conviction

• Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite

• Comfort with Motion Graphics, Prototyping tools, Sketch

• HTML5, CSS and/or native Android and iOS knowledge is a plus, but not required

Basic Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in design related field

• Bachelors with 2+ years of design experience or Masters degree
