Job Description
Our Enterprise Product organization is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join the internal UX team. Our UIs are primarily desktop browser-based applications, including dashboards, DAMs, and scheduling tools, that support NBCU's global content supply chain. We do not design mobile or consumer-facing UIs.
The ideal candidate has deep experience designing enterprise tools for internal use. They have worked within a design system, and have a proven ability to understand complex workflows, and translate them into user-friendly UIs.
The successful Designer needs to be an effective communicator (written, verbal, interpersonal), and an active and willing collaborator. They are comfortable iterating quickly, even when product scope and requirements are fluid.

  • Design user-friendly UIs for enterprise applications
  • Produce documentation, user flows, lo-fi and hi-fi designs, prototypes, and presentation slides
  • Actively participate in group critiques, giving and receiving feedback, and refining designs
  • Eloquently present design solutions to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team to leverage reusable patterns and components
  • Collaborate with team to quality control UX/UI across enterprise products


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI or equivalent experience
  • 5 years professional experience in UX/UI design for enterprise products
  • 2 years experience working within a design system and component libraries at an enterprise scale
  • Ability to understand complex technical and project details, and communicate them simply to non-technical audiences
  • Hands-on expertise using Sketch, Marvel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, initiative, and attention-to-detail
  • Link to professional portfolio with relevant enterprise UI design examples


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Material Design (including React and Angular Material), Salesforce Lightning, and Accessibility guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Frontify, Airtable, Figma, and Salesforce
