Job Description As a User Experience Researcher, you will develop research strategies that deliver actionable insights using qualitative and quantitative research methods to improve and innovate technology experiences for our employees. You will scope and craft research plans, execute research in a variety of methodologies, and present findings to stakeholders. We are looking for a creative and resourceful User Experience Researcher with strong user centered design research skills to join our rapidly growing team of innovators, disruptors and problem solvers.
You'll hone your communication skills by presenting your work to diverse stakeholders and the broader technology organization. Naturally, we want someone who is able to understand the big picture, but we are also looking for an individual who cares about detail and will complement and embody our team culture - caring and empathizing with users, showing kindness, seeing a need or pain point and actively reaching out to help. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with product owners and design leads to understand the user segments and related product/service offerings
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand project goals and identify areas where user experience research can provide greater insight and success
  • Partner with designers and project team to identify future research needs, produce project briefs estimating scope and level of effort
  • Ensure all research study results are actionable and contribute directly towards meeting project and business goals
  • User-centric design approach that involves rapid testing using iteration of designs
  • Present and communicate research findings and opportunities to the project team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities on tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Understanding of accessibility and the ability to apply that to designs
  • Open minded, collaborative and flexible work style
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and critiques
  • Ability to be a UX advocate and communicate with diverse stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience planning and executing user research studies
  • Create and execute research plans across qualitative and quantitative user research, moderate studies and analyze findings across the product lifecycle to articulate human-centered problems
  • Experience with exploratory, generative, evaluative and summative research methods
  • Drive strategy and priorities through data analytics, outcome based measurements and clear, actionable recommendations
  • Support the global technology experience teams in building and evolving research and measurement practices
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate the value of UX and the rationale behind your research process and design decisions


Optional Skill

  • Advanced data visualization and analytics skills
  • Exceptional skills with standard UX software such as Qualtrics, Lucid Spark/Chart, UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, Figma, Aris
