The designers at AltSource are responsible for the complete user experience and help identify and analyze effective solutions for our partners business while remaining committed to delivering what users need to feel empowered. 

About this UX Designer role:

You'll work closely with our partners and development teams to design exceptional software that helps our partners grow their businesses. You will be involved from early stage research and ideation, through implementation and iteration based on key success metrics and stakeholder feedback. You will be expected to:

• Define and create effective user experiences that are simple and intuitive for our partners and their users.
• Champion design solutions internally with the teams and our partners.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, clients and key stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
• Design for the entire lifecycle of projects, from ideation and vision casting to iteration during development to modifications of existing platforms.
• Understand and create product funnels for user experience

Your skills and experience:

• 2+ years of professional UX experience designing web and mobile applications.
• You have the ability to apply your design skills in product, interaction, and visual design to help create and build new features or products for our partners. 
• You have deep, applied knowledge of user-centered design, usability, and application design principles. 
• You can utilize critical skills like design thinking, prototyping, conceptual modeling and rapid iteration.
• You can develop a deep understanding and high degree of empathy for the user.
• You can create effective wireframes to represent design solutions with tools like InVision, Sketch, and others.
