A day in the life:
In this role, you're the key to making our products and technology usable, enjoyable and accessible for users. As a Senior UX Designer, you have the opportunity to solve real user problems and improve end user experience with creative solutions.
- Collaborating with fellow UX team members, developers, marketing strategists, user researchers, and other designers to execute design concepts that deliver on brand goals, business goals, and are technically feasible to implement.
- Taking ownership of their work by leading innovative and holistic design thinking across diverse products, platforms, and devices; driving the direction, style, and methodology of design and accessibility
- Putting the user first, and understand user-centered design principles to work from discovery and concept ideation, through flows and wireframes, to full-fidelity designs building engaging user experiences for multiple user groups that solve business objectives with purpose and simplicity.
- Day to day tasks could include anything from: conducting user research, to creating detailed user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups, to testing and repeating the process over again.
- Think big and champion cohesion in UX design using LovelySkin's design system that unites a growing assortment of products, while continuing to seek improvement and innovation.
- Delivering results by presenting and articulating your design process, inspiration, and decisions to company leadership.
Compensation: $65,000-85,000 (Dependent on Experience) and Bonus Eligible
Location: On-site- Omaha, Nebraska
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Hybrid work schedule, 2-4 days work from home
About you:
- 2-4 years of UX design experience or equivalent; ecommerce experience highly desired.
- UX Certification or equivalent degree in visual design, graphic design, computer science or web development.
- Experience with UX design tools such as the UXPin, Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, Wordpress and JavaScript skills are a plus.
- A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design (UCD), user research, user testing, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Expertise in producing relevant deliverables including an online portfolio that demonstrates an advocacy for the user, highlighting detailed site maps, user flows/task flows, user journeys, page flows, IA, wireframes, annotations, and prototypes that represent interactions and recommendations, and shows us how you think.
