Job Description
UX Designer, Associate
The Global Technology Employee Experience group is looking for a UX Designer to join our team of user experience practitioners focused on designing delightful, seamless, and accessible end-to-end experiences for JPMC employees. You will fill an important need in our growing Legal UX team and will have much opportunity to add value and impact. You will work alongside UX researchers, product, and technology to understand Legal department users and create improved experiences for them.
Job Responsibilities

  • Quickly learn and understand the existing products and business goals
  • Create Information Architecture that involves organizing information in an understandable manner
  • Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction model and screen designs with rational while advocating for end user to other stakeholders of the product
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute to the visual design language for the Legal product line while maintaining awareness of the larger ecosystem of product and design standards
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers for user research, recommendations, and research deliverables such as journey maps and personas
  • Partner with business and technology/development teams to launch solutions that balance business, user, and technical priorities
  • Work on multiple projects with varying levels of UX engagement, time to complete, and expectations


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience as a UX designer with solid interaction and enterprise application design skills
  • Skilled in visual design (graphic and information design for interactive products/sites, and where possible data visualization)
  • Skilled with standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, and InVision
  • A11y knowledge or experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end digital product/service development and how UX aligns
  • Experience in designing enterprise application and ability to design "Don't make me think" solution for end user
  • Understanding of modern web application technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or other advanced degree in UX/HCI, design, or related field
  • Experience with web application technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, LESS/Sass, React
  • Experience with Content Design
  • Experience with illustration and free hand drawing
