WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end design projects, ensuring outcomes meet both business and user goals
  • Champion excellent user-centered design standards
  • Facilitate workshops with clients to support them through a participatory design process
  • Lead UX aspects of design projects including user research, usability testing activities, data analysis and development of mental models and customer-journey maps
  • Build trusted relationships with internal/external account stakeholders
  • Ensure projects and tasks are delivered on time and within budget
  • Present design work confidently to stakeholders and build trusting relationships
  • Stay up to date with latest design and technology trends
  • Provide design solutions across various touchpoints (e.g. websites, mobile, apps)
  • Create design strategies, wireframes, prototypes, design systems
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of all aspects of the Experience Design approach, with the ability to apply them flexibly across a variety of project types
  • Strong experience with user flows, IA, site maps and wireframes, and with creating interactive prototypes at various levels of fidelity
  • Ideate and co-design with peers and clients in a positive and collaborative manner
  • Organize and delegate work to other designers as appropriate and provide mentorship
  • Mentor and create career growth paths your team members


REQUIREMENTS

  • A hunger to learn, humility to listen and smarts to deliver
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a user experience, information architecture or interaction design role
  • 3+ years experience managing a team
  • Strong client-facing consultation, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to lead user research and testing activities and deliverables
  • Strong understanding of interaction, responsive and service design, and usability best practices
  • Ability to lead design activities within both agile and waterfall environments
  • Ability to accurately estimate and delegate work so that it is delivered on time and on budget
  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies for desktop and mobile and interest in emerging technologies such as AR/VR and IoT
  • Expert knowledge with the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch & Figma
  • Experience working on large-scale, complex digital engagements
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • High-level knowledge of visual design and front-end development
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business and project needs

ADDITIONAL

  • Depending on the position, EPAM employees may need to work at a client worksite or an EPAM office.
