Content Strategist / Content Designer

Seeking an experienced Content Strategist/Content Designer to join our EComm Experience team. The ideal candidate would have experience and skills in both Content Strategy and Content Design and be able to flex into each when needed.

In this role, you will work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders: UX, UX Research, UX Writers, Product Marketing, Product, etc. You will be a strategic thinker who is curious and a self-motivated contributor with a strong understanding of business strategy, user personas, how competitors are showing up within the EdTech space, and how to use data analytics to drive strategic UX content decisions.

You also need to have experience with content design systems, content models, UX writing, information architecture and presenting to stakeholders. Having knowledge about Design conventions is ideal but more importantly is knowing how to foster the most effective relationships with UX and UI designers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Defines and executes Content Strategy for eComm initiatives.
  • Leads projects with confidence, empathy, quality, and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and partnering abilities.
  • Confidently represents the work with stakeholders in a manner that embraces storytelling, builds trust as well as confidence.
  • Responsible for content quality, process documentation, and on time delivery of the team's work.
  • Collaboration with UX to create scalable templates for sites across multiple geographies.
  • Great attitude that supports a positive, fun, rich team culture within Content and across the larger experience team.
  • Openly welcomes feedback, but also knows what to take action on and how to communicate feedback responses to stakeholders confidently, clearly, and in a timely manner.
  • Promotes exchange of learning, best practice and new ideas


Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience with user-centered and immersive content through device-agnostic, data-driven content strategies, adaptive content models and standards.
  • Proven and related experience in content strategy and content design
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills and copywriting experience
  • Experience with technical architecture and implementation of content components, platforms, frameworks and patterns
  • Experience designing content for digital products and websites
  • Experience using evidence, data and research to support experience decisions
  • Experience effectively managing many stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solver, issue resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience of using tools such as content maps, content models, and site maps
  • Experience with tools: Miro, Word, Ditto (or similar), Jira, Figma
  • Experience of attending and assisting in research and usability testing, a/b or multivariate tests
  • Values teamwork and is a great team player
