UX and Visual Designer, Mid
Key Role:
Support client engagements for the User Experience and Visual Design capability and create solutions in support of communication strategies and execution, including applying UX skills to conceptualize and create large-scale digital experiences and applications. Engage with designated SME teams to articulate client needs and requirements into industry-leading digital designs, including identifying and supporting prioritization of project milestones and processes. Apply visual design skills to design and produce marketing collateral and outreach materials within established brands. Ensure consistency of brand standards and work internally with both cross-functional teams, clients, and external agencies and vendors. Maintain responsibility for managing the design, communication, implementation, and monitoring, while applying design and production processes required to ensure efficient and effective delivery. Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to produce on time and budget while maintaining quality. Exhibit teamwork with clients and members of the creative team, take direction, and solicit feedback to ensure the best possible product. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Compensation:
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 90,000 to 110,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.

Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in visual design
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Wireframing prototyping tools, including Axure or Sketch, and InVision
- Experience with delivering, supporting, and marketing the design components of communications strategies to the federal government
- Experience with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and interface design
- Knowledge of front-end development
- Knowledge of all aspects of the print process
- Ability to support and perform design work for an array of materials, including digital assets, brochures, flyers, factsheets, presentations, posters, and e-newsletters
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with consulting directly with clients
- Experience with brand development
- Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team-based government or professional services environment
- Experience with creating infographics
- Knowledge of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards
- Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
