As our UX Researcher, you'll play a strategic role in the product team. As a team, we're responsible for helping define and drive the future of our products and your job will be to understand, identify, and champion customer needs.
Using your research experience, you will work with cross-functional teams like Design and Product Management to conduct research, inspire change, deliver oral and written presentations, evaluate qualitative and quantitative data, and help the broader R&D team understand what would make a user's experience more intuitive, accessible, and seamless. You'll be an advocate for the user and for user research and continually find new ways to ensure that research is a central step in the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).
Other responsibilities include:

• Conducting formative and summative user research.
• Conducting and evaluating quantitative and qualitative research.
• Performing competitive and discovery research.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
• Planning and implementing user research strategies and methodologies.
• Advocating research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
• Asking questions, gathering data, and analyzing data.

Requirements
Here's what we're looking for:

• Experience as a UX researcher within a commercial environment, working with a range of research methodologies
• Experience with remote testing tools
• Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
• Ability to quickly and effectively share research results
• Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
• A strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude
• Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties - the consummate team player
