Epsilon is seeking a User Experience (UX) Manager to enthusiastically grow our team and evolve our work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The right candidate for this role will be experienced leading a team in excellence, focused on user-centric and design thinking, be highly collaborative, and have a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
The following outlines the principal work & responsibilities of the job and is not intended to be an exhaustive list.

  • Lead the Digital User eXperience (dUX) team in close partnership with the VP of Digital Experience
  • Entrench themselves in project activities and the development of team members and group plans and goals in alignment of our UX Team Guiding Principles of: Team Values & Collaboration, Getting Work Done and Creating an Impact.
  • Define, engage, and manage best-in-class UX standards, processes, and toolsets to provide clear leadership, governance, and education
  • Create strategy documents and content to provide to UX team personnel as well as collaborating product and business teams
  • Collaborate with, and promote collaboration among, team and across business units; enable a business setting that allows smooth cooperation and collaboration of cross-functional departments to ensure the successful execution of UX strategy
  • Develop and collaborate on detailed requirement documents and identify and translate market requirements into UX and product goals
  • Work closely with other departmental leads to align vision and ensure that their consolidated vision is in line with the core business values
  • Delegate responsibilities appropriately to UX team members, while maintaining the ultimate liability and accountability for execution of each of those responsibilities
  • Mentor, foster and support intelligent innovation and risk-taking to create and deliver recommendations and deliverables that improve consumer/user interaction and experience
  • Champion UX and promote and increase understanding of UX value throughout the organization
  • Conduct research and document findings
  • Gain extensive awareness of our product's and their strengths and limitations relative to market/consumer/user needs, competitive threats, market opportunities, and most importantly, consumer/user experience
  • Maximize on opportunities for innovativeness and product growth in relation to consumer/user experience and partner with product, sales and account teams to create product and positioning strategies that subsequently increase business revenue and profitability
  • Roll up their sleeves and develop and lead consumer/user scenarios; plan and map user experience and campaign flows; conceptualize & design interfaces, and wireframe and build interactive prototypes


This role requires someone who has:

  • Bachelors' degree (and/or 5+ years equivalent work experience) in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in UX and/or product-related management positions, preferably in a high-volume advertising agency, digital marketing agency, or Internet-related services & products company
  • Experience managing a UX team of professionals, preferably as a lead or manager of UX, and delivering product projects in a large scale and complex business setting
  • Portfolio of UX projects that display good information architecture, usability, and interaction design principles, and
  • Experience with Lean UX and Design Thinking
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and build constructive relations across business teams and to ensure all functions in the UX team are executed promptly, efficiently, and effectively. Infinite patience and experience responding well to design requests are essential. In addition, the Senior UX Manager will display a high level of confidence in themselves and other people to inspire and motivate performance and increase overall effectiveness and of the team and the business on a continuous basis.
  • This position is one of immense pressure and, as such, the right candidate will demonstrate an ability to navigate complex situations and tasks with a clear head, calmly and with composure, setting an example for others
  • Demonstrate excellent ability to continuously drive results
  • Excellent English language skills-verbal and written-are essential. This role is regularly required to make presentations to stakeholders at all levels and must possess communication skills that will enable clarity in presenting, articulating, and defending research findings, design decisions, and formulated strategies to stakeholders in a way that they can relate to and easily understand.
  • Analytic capability to refine strategic proposals and making improvements recommendations down the line
  • Expertise in formulation of research and strategy efforts in conjunction with other product and business teams and possesses the analytical skills to ensure accurate interpretation of research information and accurate formulation of the most suitable product approaches and strategies
  • High proficiency in the use of various UX, business and collaboration tools such as: the Adobe Creative Suite (esp: Photoshop & XD,) Figma, Zeplin, PowerPoint, Excel, Asana, etc.
  • Understanding of Accessible Design practices and standards (as guided by WAI-ARIA) and ability to apply them in practice
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and their impact on information architecture
  • Can-do attitude, self-motivated; detail-obsessed and able to multi-task with good time management skills
