The User Experience (UX) Lead is accountable for the strategy, research, and design of IMO digital service and product transformation for a product vertical. You'll drive strategic product changes through end-user insights, market understanding, and product innovation. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams for strategy development, and work collaboratively with other members of the UX team to deliver meaningful changes to the User Experience that will drive product adoption and end user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Partner and engage successfully with cross-functional leadership (product, development, terminology, marketing, etc.) to build new products and feature enhancements for the healthcare market.
- Champion user research, UX best practices, and analytics to validate project assumptions and develop the best user experience.
- Determine the UX approach and deliverables required for each product initiatives.
- Estimate and plan upcoming UX work to support the timely delivery.
- Facilitate design workshops and leading ideation sessions for new product development.
- Plan and prioritize discovery and usability research with product stakeholders.
- Manage participant recruiting using internal and external resources.
- Lead session facilitation and findings analysis.
- Develop customer journey maps and personas to provide the cross functional teams with insights into end user needs.
- Lead design critiques and present design solutions to cross-functional leadership.
- Coordinate UX Designers effort on larger project efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years in the user experience or related fields. Bachelor's degree in Digital Design or Human Computer Interaction is preferred
- Proven ability to partner successfully with cross-platform leadership on product development
- Ability to manage challenging situations, such as negotiating design tradeoffs with cross-functional teams
- Experience conducting multi-platform user research and leading workshops, such as design thinking sessions
- Ability to think creatively and provide solutions for conception, design, and production
- Comprehensive understanding of Human-computer interaction, user experience principles, and user-centered design practices
- Knowledge of a variety of user research techniques including user interviews/surveys, concept testing, task/scenario testing, and moderated/unmoderated testing
- Experience with UX operations, UX standards, and rapid prototyping
- B2B experience in a Healthcare field is preferred
