User Experience Designer
Job Description
Jacobs is hiring for a User Experience Designer to join our team in Huntsville, AL OR Chantilly, VA!
Responsibilities:
- Works with the development team to build mock-ups of intuitive interfaces
- Works across case management development teams to provide a consistent look and feel
- Reviews user experience feedback and adjusts accordingly
- Works with users to understand use cases
- Updates and maintains style guides
- Works with the development teams to ensure 508 compliant designs
- Works with the development teams on responsive designs based on current best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
- 7 years of experience analyzing large-scale enterprise systems for usability
- 5 years of experience developing wireframes and mockups
- Experience with responsive design
- Experience writing production-quality HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with working knowledge using these technologies:
- JAVA
- HTML
- CSS
- JAVA Script
- 508 compliances
Clearance Requirement: TS
This position requires a Top-Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI). Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include, but are not limited to:
- U.S. Citizenship (Required)
- Favorable Criminal History Check
- Education Verification
- Abuse/Illegal Drug Use
- Credit Check
- Subject Interview
