User Experience Designer, Sr
Our Senior UX Designer will have a track record of outstanding interactive design work across a range of categories and applications. You'll be able to rally and lead less-experienced designers in a highly collaborative environment, providing coaching and mentoring to other UX designers. And, you'll bring solid communication skills to present concepts and strategies to your clients, stakeholders and colleagues. You will build strong relationships and be connected with the Development and Product Management teams. You bring loads of experience, but know there's always more to learn. You're inspired by elegant design solutions to real-world problems. You're a problem solver who believes the how and why are as crucial as the final deliverable. You are comfortable working independently and within a team-always delivering high-quality work. Have a thorough grasp of how to integrate research, design, technical development and business strategy. Essential Job Responsibilities: Influence strategic decisions across teams Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand audience needs and define requirements Create workflows and wireframes that map out detailed interactions Create low- and high-fidelity mockups that communicate high-level design Excellent presenter, with a natural ability to tell a compelling story and persuade audiences Participate in design research as needed Experience in leading offshore and onshore designers The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years in an interaction design role Working knowledge of delivering in an Agile/Scrum environment Experience working in a Software Development environment Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others in the UX role Excellent communication skills to present concepts and strategies to your clients, stakeholders and colleagues Bachelor's degree in design, psychology, communication, computer science or related area Preferred Qualifications: Financial service industry experience Experience designing with Sketch, Axure, and Adobe tools Experience with UserZoom and other user-based design methods Experience with Adobe Anaytics Experience integrating research, design, technical development and business strategy Familiarity designing for mobile/tablet and responsive web Leading product design across divisions and multiple locations Leading offshore development teams and UX designers
