Job Description

THE POSITION
• Contribute to the transformation of user and customer experience in Continental Digital Solutions through your design expertise• Conduct user research and create user personas• Analyze user behavior data and customer requirements, structure and run usability tests• Determine the information architecture of our digital products• Develop, optimize and specify innovative operating concepts• Design user flows and wireframes• Create interactive mock-ups and prototypes• Work in close collaboration with the Mobile and Web UI teams and coordinate with technical architects• Hands-on collaboration with Product Management, Customer Insights Lead and Business stakeholders

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree• Successfully completed training in the areas of media design, interaction design, communication design, media informatics or in a technically comparable area• Consistently user-centered thinking as well as several years of practical knowledge in user experience • Extensive experience in the conception and visual design of user interfaces (websites, web and mobile apps) as well as a strong understanding of platforms, use cases, interfaces and processes• Experience in usability testing - understand what customers prefer and how they behave in every microexperience• Expert knowledge in the Adobe Suite (XD, Illustrator,Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and / or Sketch, Figma, MockFlow, Axure RP, INVIsion• Basic technical knowledge, especially in the area of HTML, CSS3 and the like• Firsthand experience with design thinking• Excellent communicator and a true team player• Continental is able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience or 10+ years of experience without Bachelors degree• Animation skills• Information architecture experience
