Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our growing technology team. This is an opportunity to join a strong development team utilising the latest set of progressive technologies, for an expanding global intelligence business as well as investigating new technologies such as AI and ML to enhance the platforms and services that we offer our customers.

The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean user centred design, possess superior UI/UX skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artefacts, and transform them into intuitive and functional user interfaces.

Qualifications

Key requirements

· Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role

· Experience with design software such as Adobe XD

· Excellent communication and writing skills.

· Ability to clearly articulate design decisions

· Ability to give and receive constructive and actionable feedback

Additional Information

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with product and engineering teams in developing new and exciting features for upcoming versions of intelligence-based sites

· Produce UI designs, assets and prototypes of a consistently high quality

· Iterate through early wireframing to hi-res mock-ups

· Conduct UX interviews and workshops; and evaluate feedback

· Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders

· Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

· Find creative ways to solve UX problems

· Work with the UI/UX Lead Designer to develop and grow your skillset

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

· Clear written and verbal communication

· A passion for UIUX design

· Good understanding of UX processes and UI design principles

· A yearning to understand and meet the needs of the user

· Ability to produce high quality, visually appealing UI assets

· Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a close-knit team

Desirable

· Experience working with design systems

· Experience in Scrum or Agile ways of working

· Worked in a remote team
