About the the Team:

We’re looking for a talented and experienced UX Writer and Content Strategist to join our design team to shape our best-in-class Customer Data Platform, develop a unified communication style, and help design delightful experiences through language and content direction.  This includes copy throughout our SaaS applications, websites, and marketing initiatives.

About the Role:

*Our roles are remote first, and can be based anywhere in the US (#LI-Remote).

What you'll do:

  • Lead the UX Writing discipline within the product design team, collaborating with designers and researchers to make the product experience and the whole team better.
  • Craft the content strategy for RudderStack and its applications.
  • Write and edit product copy across all applications.
  • Advocating for clear, concise language and storytelling in user experience
  • Help us build customer empathy by talking with customers and testing prototypes to more deeply understand customer problems.
  • Work through design problems from beginning to end: translating research insights into ideas that form disruptive new products and features, then designing workflows and detailed interactions to create delight.
  • Collaborate with creative team members to determine the optimal copy for user interfaces (including microcopy) and marketing communications
  • Work very collaboratively with strategic partners within the team to ensure that the customer journey is always honored and prioritized.
  • Partner with marketing writers to determine how our brand voice is expressed within our products.
  • Maintaining high standards of copywriting and exercising quality control on all copy and creative deliverables
  • Write about, present, and share what you and your team have learned throughout the company.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • 4+ years experience doing the following 👇
  • Experience leading copy and content strategy for digital products and systems, not just websites or marketing
  • Experience working on enterprise-grade product solutions with a high level of technical complexity
  • Experience working with development teams in sprints, active participation in Agile ceremonies and demos
  • Experience using a CMS system to create and maintain a unified, modular writing system throughout a product
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle diverse writing demands
  • Excellent communicator of your work and your rationale behind proposals
  • Excellent self-starter who can effectively collaborate with engineers and designers to find design solutions through functional prototypes
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
