Overview
The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for the design and development of advanced course materials and training aides for specified needs, including Leadership Programs, and possibly operations training. An emphasis will be on but not limited to Instructor-led and Virtual training. This position will perform needs analysis and recommend the best training modality to deliver and improve training. This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will be located within the Tampa Bay area for occasional on-site meetings.
Job Description

  • Creates and organizes course content to produce curriculum that meets learning needs of the business.
  • Develops and manages timelines and milestones. Collaborates with internal business partners to validate that curriculum solutions align to business priorities and strategy for operational effectiveness.
  • Participates in peer to peer reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and appropriate use of course content guidelines.
  • Develops tools and processes to measure effectiveness of curriculum solutions and learner performance to ensure solutions meet employee skill development requirements.
  • Guides the business on strategy implementation in the pursuit of business solutions
  • Acquires and applies advance knowledge of the business, its products and processes to create training materials that solution business needs
  • Gathers information, analyzes data trends, identifies root cause(s), and provides information to the business or project teams.
  • Stays on top of Instructional Design trends including methodologies and technologies.
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values of Accountable, Reliable, and Ethical.

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Passion for Adult Learning and Leadership Training.
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, and Google Suite.
  • Collaboration, Creativity, and Curiosity to produce highly innovative training.
  • Ability to be agile and adapt easily to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Financial Services and mortgage industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management.
