Fluidra is seeking a Sr. Graphic Designer to join our team at the North American Headquarters in Carlsbad, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Fluidra is looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior Graphic Designer to play a vital role on our creative design team in the marketing department. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for helping develop the visual identity of our brands and product brands across all channels. In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end execution of concepts, brand and art development. Reporting directly to the Art Director. The Senior Graphic Designer will ensure that the visual design standards are both upheld, refined and remain modern over time. Our brands are currently expanding and evolving, and we are looking for a conceptual thinker, who can take projects from ideation/concept to final execution - always designing with the bigger picture in mind. Candidates must have a strong background in brand, print and digital design; excellent typography/layout skills, and most importantly, have the ability to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude. Additionally, you will:

  • Collaborating with the art director, marketing managers, and product managers and other professionals to solve project objectives, including determining the style, technique, and medium best suited to produce desired effect/result.
  • Take projects from ideation to defined concepts to execution, including the ability to articulate / present detailed design break-downs to the component level as well as the creative decisions being made and why to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the design and production of a variety of print and digital projects, including brochures, packaging, retail displays, 3D renders, logos, sell sheets, email blasts, digital banner ads and landing pages along with social media and website graphics.
  • Responsible for adhering to established workflow processes and ensuring that jobs are completed in required time frames to required specifications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with an eye for consistency.
  • Understand and adhere to brand and industry guidelines.
  • Organize and maintain a clear file organization and output, including pre-flighting all projects.



WHAT WE SEEK

  • 10+ years' work experience within the field of graphic design
  • 5+ experience in Keyshot or Cinema 4D files
  • 3+ years of web design experience
  • A strong portfolio of visual and brand design work
  • Robust understanding of design principles and best practices across digital and print
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize, and follow through with little prompting from supervisor
  • Strong ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, keyshot/Cinema 4D.) as well as Microsoft PowerPoint
  • A collaborative team player with an interest in learning from and listening to others
  • Must be self-motivated, comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and the ability to articulate design decisions to internal clients
  • Passion, creativity, and a sense of humor is a must



EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent practical experience
