Big Red Rooster is looking for a curious and creative Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director to be a part of our Atlanta studio - someone who thrives working as part of a passionate team yet is highly productive working alone.

This role will contribute to the growth of our business through the development of smart, innovative and on-brand print, digital and video solutions for our clients. The successful candidate will consistently meet project objectives while thrilling our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develops creative, on-brand visual concepts for integrated campaigns that can be successfully measured against project brief
  • Responsible for initial ideation and development of concepts through refinement and final artwork production
  • Understands production process and file set ups for print and digital applications
  • Consistently manages project tasks within time and budget parameters
  • Effectively manages multiple concurrent projects and associated (sometimes competing) deadlines
  • Understands how to build standards and style guides to drive consistency across integrated communications
  • Interacts regularly with Creative Directors and Account Leads for project direction and review/feedback of assigned projects
  • Collaborates effectively with copywriters and other creative team members
  • Presents ideas/concepts effectively to both internal and client audiences


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in visual communications, graphic design or art school degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with agency or in a fast-paced client setting
  • Impressive portfolio that shows the understanding, interpretation and application of visual brand identities
  • Digital experience is a must (social media content, rich media advertising, UX for websites, video storyboarding/development)
  • Candidate must demonstrate keen sense of information design (typography and information hierarchy)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Proficient in Keynote and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office)
  • Seeks out and responds well to feedback and direction from others; highly collaborative/team approach
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Great attitude, sense of humor
  • Ability to follow through on written or verbal direction with highest attention to detail
  • Ability to work between in-office and independently in a virtual/remote setting
