Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Help set a product strategy and vision that accelerates growth of the business and creates a best in industry solution for customer and field service.
- Execute exceptionally high-quality, visually stunning product design that delights users while helping them accomplish their tasks efficiently and with great satisfaction.
- Manage and mentor UX designers, while partnering closely with other experience functions such as research, content strategy, technical documentation and design operations.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to deliver successful product outcomes, with a keen understanding of the ServiceNow platform, design system, and technology.
- Ability to create product outcomes that are cohesive with our overall product brand and user experience patterns, while designating where we need to develop bespoke solutions for specific users and workflows.
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership and be an ambassador of our culture as part of the UX executive leadership team, creating an inclusive, inspiring and productive environment that empowers experience professionals to do their best work.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 10+ years industry experience in UX design
- 5+ years managing a UX team, including IC’s and managers
- Knowledge of user interface design, usability evaluation techniques, perception, cognition, task analysis, experimental design, and statistics
- Mobile and web design experience including an understanding of responsive web design
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills with executive presence
- Must have excellent teamwork, communication, and technical problem-solving skills to contribute within a multi-functional and multi-disciplined team
