Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join the brand design team in Dania Beach, FL and work side-by-side with passionate pet lovers. The ideal candidate has experience partnering with cross-functional teams and designing assets across brand-owned channels such as eCom, email, social, and some print (direct mail, catalogue, etc.). They will join our team of designers, art directors, and creative directors to deliver the highest-quality on brand content for Chewy.

What You’ll Do:

• Work quickly on design projects to create original assets for the site and marketing – will include mostly digital, but some print work.
• Problem solve design projects.
• Work independently from a brief to provide quick, solid design executions that WOW.
• Partner with our in-house creative team to provide high level inspiration for both lifestyle and product photoshoots.
• Design for brand-owned channels, external digital advertising, and internal marketing.
• Support the Art Director and Associate Creative Director with photo, motion, and video direction by utilizing inspiration boards that effectively translate marketing briefs into evergreen and/or seasonal campaigns.
• Partner cross-functionally with the copy, studio, production, project management, creative management, and greater marketing team.

What You’ll Need:

As a Senior Graphic Designer at Chewy you will need an eye for quality, a thirst for growth and the maturity to be a flexible member of the team.  You’ll need to manage strong and effective internal partnerships and be able to thrive in a deadline driven environment. You will also provide support during various team challenges and should also possess the ability to professionally and constructively troubleshoot, and pivot as needed with positivity to create and maintain a safe, friendly, pet-centric working environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in design or a related area of study.
• 5+ years of designing for a brand or agency.
• Adobe creative suite – InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience designing across multiple channels, including but not limited to brand-owned digital channels, external advertising, internal marketing, and print production.
• Solid typography skills.
• Keen eye for photography.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design and social trends as well as the ability to translate design research into inspiration boards.
• Ability to internalize Chewy brand guidelines and standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment.
• Social media design experience is a plus.
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Invision is a plus.
• Illustration or hand lettering preferred.
• Photo/Video direction experience – the ability to provide clear and concise direction in briefs – is a plus.
• Position may require travel
