To support Lucid’s rapid growth, we’re looking for a seasoned design production lead/manager to join the Brand Creative team. Reporting to the senior creative director, you’ll work closely with internal and external partners and stakeholders to lead and own the execution of our design efforts and ensure the work meets the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding and directing the execution and delivery of all brand and marketing design deliverables done by designers and production artists (internal and external); approving their work, and be a hands-on contributor in executing and producing work as needed
- Work with our creative project manager, design team, stakeholders, and partners to define and optimize our brand and marketing design process
- Team up with our senior art director to ensure the brand is expressed accurately. Provide design and tactical feedback and recommendations that will help extend and evolve the brand and existing guidelines
- Lead the execution, refinement, and implementation of various brand style guides and brand design systems
- Team up with our creative project manager to refine intake and execution processes, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners across the organization
- Stay on top of the latest trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements:
- 7+ years of production / graphic design experience on a team in the B2B or marketing space, creating work and finalizing files for both traditional and digital medium
- A meticulous design technician and software geek with excellent problem-solving skills with a positive attitude
- Proactive communicator and collaborator
- Great communication & negotiation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Highly organized system thinker
- Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
- Have a portfolio showcasing the ability to generate polished final files by following directions and style guides
- In-depth technical knowledge with a variety of production standards, best practices, and software like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator,
- Photoshop, as well as Google Docs and Slides
- Proven ability to dissect briefs and scope out projects accurately
Experience working with existing design systems and style guides
Experience partnering with creative directors, art directors, and designers on projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or interest in creating and revising design systems and style guides
- Experience or interest in motion and video
- 1 year or more people management experience
- Proven ability to translate business strategy and brand standards for web
