M – F / 8 Hour Day Shift

This position will mainly focus on front-end development for the NSWC Carderock SharePoint sites, while also providing administration of SharePoint.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the design of the main NSWC Carderock SharePoint site and associated site collections of groups across the command

• Design and develop metadata configuration, site configuration, lists, content types, workflows, and other components

• Interface with NSWC Carderock users across different functions (IT, HR, Contracts, Engineering) to collect and discuss requirements

The Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center supports 3,200 scientists, engineers, and technical personnel in more than 40 disciplines ranging from fundamental science to applied/in-service engineering.

To qualify, you will need:

• DOD Secret Security Clearance 

• Active CompTIA Security+CE

• 4 years of SharePoint design experience 

• Experience with the following items:

o SOA Architecture

o C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net

o SharePoint security and network configurations

o Web services design, development, and implementation

o Creating and modifying master layout pages, web parts, and other components

o HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, Flash, CSS, Ajay, JQuery, JavaScript, SOAP/XML Web Services

o Web/Portal structure and design, development, content management, usability, user experience interface design and navigation

o Experience with Sharepoint Online
